CORRUPTION. (14/05/16)

There isn’t much to report from a sunny Scotland. We had a frost last night, the news has been quite exciting for a change.
The queen has insulted the Chinese which struck me as either very brave or plain stupid when they are building a nuclear power station in England. Shows what centuries of inbreeding can do.
Dithery Dave is hosting a seminar on corruption, I can think of few folk better qualified. He is also threatening us with WW III if we vote to leave the EU. That is a silly remark, as he should know referendum and elections have little to do with the voters but everything to do with the folk that count the votes and where the boxes have been between the polling booths and the counting house. I am led to believe the electoral commission are girding their collective loins to demand some clarification from him and his puppet Feldman on this matter.
I have come to the conclusion that Dithery Dave was conceived at the weekend as the minister of health tells us that is when most mistakes occur and Jeremy should know.

On a local level the barley is growing and the rabbits are getting fat.
To finish today's missive here are a couple of corrupted images.

Trenching Bucket.

Steering Ram.
That’s all, have fun.
PS. I think referendum is the plural of referendum, like sheep and sheep or as Dithery prefers piglae and piglae. I have seen referenda used, I can remember very little Latin and my English is far from perfect. I’ll leave it with you.

  1. You always have something interesting to share, a comment, video or photo. I especially enjoyed the commentary today but the photos were intriguing too.

    1. Marie, I fancied posting but hadn't got any material. Politicians rarely fail to provide amusement and Photoshop can usually be persuaded to butcher an image.

  2. World war three. Hmmmm, I think ditherey has completely lost it. Wibble wobble is now an appropriate name for him, of many.
I see the Tory party were under investigation for fiddling their expenses during the election. Not reported by the Tory biased BBC though.
    Enjoy your weekend.

    1. Keith, I don't think he ever had it to lose. Two lots of elections fiddled now and Labour don't seem much better. We are well blessed here I suspect the Archbishop of wherever is the brightest of the bunch and he has some funny ideas.

  3. Seen recently:
Queen, "One wasn't really listening, are these the terribly corrupt people you were talking about?" This next to a photo of MPs in the House of Commons.

    1. I agree with the sentiment John. She and her ilk are at the top of the pile. Awful folk one and all.

  4. Aw, come on, they don't eat much and they provide the world with amusement. Now, just think if Chuck were to suddenly have a fatal heart attack, the current crop of princes and princesses would be off to forgetitsville. The succession would then flop over to Andy... Oh dear..... But I'd rather put up with all of that than our current election. I really like the barley field shot.

    1. Bill, there are dozens of them. I think the ex colonies should offer them a home.

  5. As a former Returning Officer I deeply resemble your unwarranted slur. Please stick to politicians. They are, of course, unimpecable or is it unimpeachable but can at least answer back.

    1. Graham, did you ever have to account for a van load of ballot boxes going missing for six hours? Did you ever wonder why postal voting is so popular?
Good job you weren't an agent, or perhaps a shame you weren't as from what I can see the fiddling is pretty well the norm.
This country is an awful mess. It will get to the stage where the sword is mightier than the pen.

    1. Richard, just play time. I ought to have popped a shadow on the bucket but never noticed.
