The colour is what I came for primarily and it is better than I was expecting. Molly is usually the roller amazing that they both weren't covered. She found a dead fish a couple of days ago so perhaps a roll a week is enough.

Trevor it will be better over the next couple of days be better still were it quieter.

j_on_tour, the families will go home saying never saw any squirrels never saw anything. Why they are surprised the racket they make I don't know. It's okay up here in winter outside school holidays. I actually enjoy stormy weather. It's the low cloud ceiling I don't like.ADRIANhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07113961163396562781noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8060152237863452651.post-59441385858381098722010-10-23T23:16:38.263+01:002010-10-23T23:16:38.263+01:00This is the Lake District that I have come to know...This is the Lake District that I have come to know and love, postcards are for tourists but this is for real ...weather ..... noisy campsites and... Now I know why it is so quiet in the village - they have all gone to say hello to a smelly Alfie.

Like Keith I think that first land / treescape is a great portrait of Autumn colours.
