ABOUT ME

WETTER (08/12/11)

image This is the GRIB file for noon today. It doesn’t look promising. I have a choice to make.

(1). Start the Ark. Too much work and too late.

(2). Go out and try and ignore the wind and rain.

(3). Stay in and play.

I have to take the dogs out so may as well take the camera with me. I played yesterday. Not very successfully.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAA virtual Post Box for virtual mail.

Details of these filters can be found here at MIDMARSH JOTTINGS. John had more success than I did so they are worth a look.

I’ll see you all later, stay safe.

  1. Looks like a tie-dye post box. Thought I'd stepped back 40 odd years for a moment. Great times.

The weather don't look too promising; I'd stay in and play.

  4. Are you sure you haven't changed your brand of smokes!!?

Looking at that weather chart I reckon you're best off staying in for the rest of today, I hope the van's tied down well!!?....stay safe...[;o)

  5. Trevor, blame John. He started this Tom Foolery not that I needed much encouragement.
If this weather continues a bit of Wacky Baccy would brighten the day.

  6. My first impression was the same as Keith's. Brought back memories of teaching 10yr olds to tie die. We stuck to T shirts though, no post boxes lol.
    Thanks for the mention.

  8. Looks like that post box beside the Durham Cathedral Green ... all those students thanking their parents "virtually" for their money that they've been squandering throughout the first term !
