THAW AND SPARKLES.

It's been a rough few months but all is well now and life goes on.

The following is a short video of lots of sparkly ico-spheres linked together and dancing.

It sort of works, I tried doing it using Sverchok Nodes in Blender but couldn't even start the node tree as the particle input node doesn't seem to have any outputs. I have tried these before but all the tutorials are in Russian so not easy to follow. I have come to the conclusion they are for intelligent 3D folk and best left alone. This was done by popping particles on an animated model from Mixamo. It wasn't as easy as I anticipated but I got a result of sorts.

The snow is slowly thawing.

It looks as if this will be the last of it for this year as the long range forecast is for milder weather. I've enjoyed this cool snap.

I found this Canadian lady on YouTube. She can be very funny, not a characteristic I've associated with Canadians before, I've always grouped them with Belgians, nice enough, generally harmless but a bit boring.

Enjoy the rest of the week.

  1. She has one one the most annoying voices I've ever heard speaking into a microphone. I've not studied it in depth (one listen through was quite enough) but it seemed to me that it was ⅔ bullshit and ⅓ crap masquerading as humour. But then I always was a kind reviewer.

    1. Graham, I've heard far worse. I find her quite attractive, overacts a bit but one gets more tolerant of minor imperfections as one gets older.
I know many people like living under an oligarchy and I could accept it when it was benign. This situation is anything but.
What will we do if Ebola ends up here? Shoot quarantine transgressors? Ebola has a survival rate of roughly 50% this cold thing has a survival rate of 97.7% It's total overreaction.
The vaccine seems wonderful. It doesn't stop you dying, doesn't let you go out, be interesting to know what it does do apart from line politicians pockets.

Enough....I'm in a good mood. Went out to look at a calf that was a tad early. Picked up some colostrum powder and a bag feeder on my way. Filled it's little tummy and I got it perfect. I once knew of an idiot who slid the pipe into the lungs, I now listen before connecting the bag of milk. It's wrapped up in an old duvet and hopefully will be on it's feet in the morning. Conversely it could be dead.

    2. Rachel it may make it as it was alive an hour ago and took another two litres of warm mix. It's not on it's feet but it seems happyish.

  2. She should go head to head with Bill Gates.

    1. Bill Gates is a squeaky voiced bloke who only an idiot would listen to. I took quite a shine to her.

  3. My mood lifted when I saw your dancing man, then took off when I read, " It sort of works, I tried doing it" only to take a nose dive when I read the rest of the sentence. I'm a little tetchy today but resisted throwing something at that Canadian.

    1. Pauline, and there I was thinking I'd chosen one of her less controversial videos. The sparkling dancer will make a birthday greeting with a bit of a polish.
