I’m sorry I've been missing for a few days but I’ve fallen on straightened circumstances, that means I’ve run out of money. I'm trying to resolve the situation but it is not easy in the short term. So this could well be the last post.
We are back on the moor………..it’s a beautiful evening. In the distance are the English Lakes.
I’m up here looking for the Merlin. I found the Golden Plover.
A Skylark in silhouette. An Idle Skylark, it’s far easier to sing from the top of a tree than fly for miles up in the air.
I’ll be back as soon as I can. Have a good weekend and have fun.
Hurry back Adrian! We'll all miss you.
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful shot of the skylark. I hope your situation gets better. I'll miss you!
ReplyDeleteAdrian, sorry to hear you're having trouble but I hope you'll continue posting, even if you stop traveling. You have the humor to keep things fresh, wherever you are.
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful post, and I certainly hope it is not the last! Take care of yourself and I hope you'll find a way really soon to sort out whatever needs sorting out.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear that Adrian, It's not easy in these times with bill & fuel costs. Hope you can sorted or modify how you are going to work things out.
ReplyDeleteI think you will find your Wheatear is in fact a Meadow Pipit or possibly a Rock Pipit, I find them difficult to tell apart.
ReplyDeleteAnyway I enjoyed the photos, I have never seen a Golden Plover!
So sorry to hear of your financial difficulties, we had our electric bill today and I nearly collapsed!!! It will need a mortgage to pay for it :(
I hope you can sort things out satisfactorily and be able to carry on posting.
Adrian, I'm sure you'll find a way round this 'problem.'
ReplyDeleteI love that first shot; and I agree with Jan, I'm pretty sure that's a Meadow Pipit.
Yep, the Whearear is a Meadow Pipit, and and and, you're going away. That's done it, who is going to keep over to my blog, boo hoo. It wont be too long before you are back with us again.
ReplyDeleteHope you manage to sort things out satisfactorily in the near future Adrian.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear that you're having woes, Adrian. I hope everything will right itself for you before long. Beautiful images as always.

ReplyDeleteI think we should have a collection! I may not log on very often these days Adrian, but Trevor keeps me posted on your wanderings! It would be very sad if you stopped now. Hope you get things sorted out. Where there's a will... there's a way x
