COOL BUT FINE (26/02/12)

I am back in Croft near Darlington for the weekend. The weather has been abysmal over in Cumbria so no photographs at all. I’m hoping for a trip to the seaside today but to get myself back into posting mood here are a couple from yesterday.

_2251568_69_70_71_72_tonemapped_edited-1   The River Tees at Hurworth Place.

_2251563_4_5_6_7_tonemapped_edited-1    Croft Bridge. I have dozens of images of this because although I like it and there is precious little else of interest around here.

I’ll do my best to get my blogging head on but the weather has been awfully depressing over the past month. It depressed me anyway!

Have a good week.

  1. Nice to hear from you Adrian!
You are complaining about that bad weather but in fact it produces amazing photos, with complex colours and depth!
Now a question: what do you mean with: " I can now view in a simple template"? have you a way of seeing my post in a Classic template?? I asked you this as i have another blogfriend who told me the same, and I am just curious to know if Blogger introduced a new viewing facility?
We have a fantastic sunny day here in the south, hope it goes your way! A good Sunday to you!

    1. DeeBee, thankyou.
If you go here Mark has written a line or two of code which I dropped into Google Chrome. It makes blogs appear with the simple template.

  3. Who needs a bridge when you can get a photo like the first one without it? Enjoy the seaside. Will you be paddling?

  10. Welcome back Adrian, I though you'd gone into hibernation for the winter!!

And you've given us two super images on your return.

I'm looking forwards to seeing your images of all those super sandcastles that you made on your trip to the seaside!...[;o)

  11. Love the stormy sky in that first shot. Great colors and it looks ominous.

  13. I'd like the bridge better sans houses. Photoshop?

    1. Graham, it could be done but would take hours. Be quicker to demolish the church and hotel.
