The fungi are all much the same at the moment. There are now thousands of sulphur Tuft and I’ve seen two different piles of Slime Mold. There are other fungi about and I will do a post sometime over the weekend.
I am still using the film camera and now have a strobe set up and working. Film doesn’t really suit blogging but I am starting to wonder what does. I am sure there are some interesting Blogs out there but I have few that I look forward to reading……………I suspect I’m blogged out.
Have a good weekend.
Adriaan what are you standing there in a splendid setting.
ReplyDeleteBas, it is a place I really like.
DeleteI love your scenery shots! The low clouds add to the mood.
ReplyDeleteLinda, they do but the rain doesn't.
DeleteTómate un descanso Adrian y volverás con más ganas ;)
ReplyDeleteBuen fin semana.
Un abrazo.
Laura, que es una buena idea.
DeleteTwo great images Adrian however I really, really like the second one the low cloud in the valley but sticking to one side of the valley is really atmospheric. I've had that feeling about blogging for a while, blogged out and lack of birds I guess/hope time will tell.
ReplyDeleteDouglas, it can get more of a chore than a pleasure.
DeleteHI Adrian Both these images are superb and I love them. the misty atmosphere gives an etheral fell to them. Oh dear! You sound a bot down. Perhaps have a break from blogging (although many would miss your photography) and come back renewed. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteMargaret, I'll be fine.
Deletehmmm...I'm feeling a little over saturated myself these days.
ReplyDeleteJust think of a post as a hello to some friends who enjoy a moment with you. No reason to work too hard at it. Loved the misty pictures.
ReplyDeleteBill, you are correct.
DeleteThe mist is always a big wizard and the result is always beautiful misty photos like these ones. My favourite is #2
ReplyDeleteThanks Kovacs.
DeleteI know how you feel Adrian. I get those periods where nothing fresh seems to appear. Remember though that the glorious countryside round you is new to those of us who have never visited the area. So what seems everyday background to you is fresh and interesting to us.
ReplyDeleteWith the second photo one can almost feel the cold and damp swirling over the hills.
John, I'll keep going and hopefully something new will appear.
DeleteSo peaceful. Wonderful captures, Adrian.
ReplyDeleteThanks Laura.
DeleteWell, at least I have one honest blogger I follow. Yes, sometimes I know I stink the joint out with some of my boring posts. However you must look at your own posts as that's the only one you can do anything about.
ReplyDeleteRed, this wasn't about you but it can be if you like.
DeleteBeautiful scenery Adrian.
ReplyDeleteThanks Lynda.
DeleteWhen do you move on to the next place Adrian? You just don't seem your normal chirpy self. Perhaps you need new scenery? A day trip? A holiday?
ReplyDeleteWell I hope you are not really "blogged out" - a term that sounds lavatorial and perhaps connected with bowel movements. Like Carol says you may need a holiday from your eternal holiday. Perhaps a week in Benidorm would sort you out. The dogs could stay in kennels and you could buy some Bermuda shorts and flip flops.
ReplyDeleteYes, I know what you mean. It's so hard.
ReplyDeleteBlogging is a bit weird. I suppose that it's a rechoed of our days more than anything.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots! I think everyone is suffering from a bit of blogging burnout right now.
ReplyDeleteThey look very striking like that, Adrian. Lovely shots.
ReplyDeletegreat moody shots of your area
ReplyDeletepeter
Love the misty light in both those pictures. Inspiration comes and goes, doesn't it. Here we've had an unusual week of sun and all blue skies... One of the consequences is that it gets too hot indoors and especially in the study, so blogging gets postponed even when the camera has been busy. Good luck with the film, btw.
ReplyDeleteMany of my fellow blogger friends have taken a break from the blogosphere at one time or another. I find that if I try to read and comment on everyone's blog with regularity, or try to comment on blogs just to try and get more followers, that this is not very fulfilling for me. I have determined that my blog is primarily to keep a photo journal for myself so I can look back on what was interesting to me to photograph at the time, to observed if my photography has improved, or to write my feelings about what I was photographing at the time. I do have wonderful blogging friends and I guess they accept that I am sporadic about how often I visit and comment their sites. Hope you find a way to not give up altogether.
