WHAT A KERFUFFLE.

I'm still playing in Houdini and failing to get my head round it. I always suspected my mathematics were a little on the weak side of competence but have now proved it.
This is what I'm aiming for, it's from a file I downloaded from GitHub. I am slowly following the excellent tutorials produced by a Japanese chap called Junichoro Horikawa.
I suspect he concentrated whilst in school. I suspect his tutorials will see me out. Mind boggling they are but watching someone write Python fast and explain at the same time is education in itself.

Yesterday I found a couple of pristine Butterflies.
 RED ADMIRAL.
PEACOCK.

I wonder what this week will bring? Whatever happens enjoy your week.

  1. There have (should it be 'there has been'?) been a lot of red butterflies around this year. I love the word 'kerfuffle'. Not many people use it these days. I think I shall start a revival movement.

    1. Butterflies have been seen in normal numbers here, the exception being the welcome influx of Painted Ladies.

  2. Great to see your flutters. I'm sure I saw more in March this year than I have seen all Summer here.

    1. John, it's been a bit wet for them this year.

  3. Last year they seemed to be concerned that butterflies were desperately on the decline, Adrian, but this year seems to have been a bumper year for them.

I'm with Graham with his revival movement. However, I think the movement will get a shot in the arm anyway, as I can see that the incidence of kerfuffles is starting to increase dramatically.

    Best wishes - - - Richard

    1. Richard, I suspect Butterflies have good and bad years. I just hope the two above find somewhere to overwinter.
I enjoy seeing our incompetent leaders running round like headless chickens, it limits the damage they can do and keeps them occupied.

  4. Beautiful butterflies. Seems to me you guys are in the perfect place for a kerfuffle revival but I'll do my best to spread the word Down Under.

    1. Pauline, It will remain amusing until the EU get an army then the Fourth Reich will start their nonsense in earnest or more likely in Spain and Poland. If you give Germans a square millimetre they take it as approval to rule continents.
