Actually it’s candle in the rain. The weather has been awful. It cleared about three thirty and out popped the sun. So a pleasant end to the day, a pleasant and unexpected end. I’ve given the van a clean, thought about the wholesale massacre of a few more images then decided to play in camera with a candle. Please excuse the phraseology. Has all sorts of unintended connotations.
The best of them. I got some weird results this is restrained by comparison with the rest.
The rain cleared so out we toddled for a walk in the sun,
Still damp but a vast improvement.
Very damp. These Rose hips are suffering, water excess.
An Oak Apple. The wasp lava inside it is snug, dry and warm…………….wish we were. We are warm but damp, the heating is on and all the windows open. Not energy efficient but necessary.
What a day, I hope that readers in low lying areas are okay.
An Oak Apple, that's what you call them. I found one a couple of years back, and I couldn't work it out. Thank you Adrian.
ReplyDeleteBob, I suspect it has a posh name, they are galls and have fly or wasp lava in them. There are dozens round here so will cut one open tomorrow and have a look.
ReplyDeleteI suspect the whole country's a little damp today. I've hardly ventured out of the door this weekend.
ReplyDeleteI like the rose hip. Best wishes for a drier day.
ReplyDeleteGB, Saturday was fine here, made up for it yesterday.
ReplyDeleteJolynne, just poked my heas out and there is a vast improvement, thanks.
It got out lovely last night here too (County Durham) and today looks like it's going to be pleasant despite a damp and misty start. :)
ReplyDeleteLesley, a good forecast for the next couple of days. Here in Barney not even mist to start. We are just off out.
