FLASHING IN THE WOODS (15/10/10)

This is a quick post today as it’s cleaning, polishing and printing for me.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA Yesterday I stumbled upon this hollow Sycamore tree and thought it might respond to being flashed at in the dark. I still think it would though these results would seem to contradict my conviction. The shadow to the left of the tree is not a goat…….I mean Ghost……..It’s me flashing.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAThis one is a bit better. It’s a two person job. I’ll see if I can’t find an assistant before this evening. I’ll have to be careful how I phrase the request. ‘Could you help me flash in the woods this evening?’ Or ‘Could you give me a hand in the woods this evening?’ Perhaps not………I’ll think of something innocuous. Plenty of time before it gets dark again.

Have a good weekend whatever you are up to.

  4. John, it is fun. Very hit and miss though.

Keith, assistant now sorted, so synchronised flashing this evening. There is another subject I feel could benefit from a bit of a flash.

Bob, that's Okay one can't be too careful. They have possibilities.

  7. I always knew fairies lived in the trees but didn't know they needed lights, are there no fireflies around? Can imagine the little people partying inside that tree. The second one is a magical photo.

I've thought of all sorts of ways you could ask for assistance but will refrain!

  8. Pauline, thanks. Need all the help I can get. Lucky it wasn't defence council.

  9. omg Adrian, there is a ghost in that tree. Look at the lower hollow in the second photo and you'll see a hand reaching out. Perhaps he (or she) wants to help you with your flashing! :O)

p.s. I have an award for you at my blog (no worries if you don't accept them Adrian, but you have a mention anyway) :)

  10. Lesley I know, it's me. Sorry I didn't get back but internet is very hit and miss up here. There are not ten things that interesting about me I'm afraid. At least not ten I would wish to broadcast.
