MERRY CHRISTMAS. (21/12/15)

A still for those with slow internet.
Below is a twelve second video. It is what it is, I know you aren't interested in the trials and tribulations.
Have a great Christmas, I will now make another start on the New Year video.

    1. Richard, I did want a comet trail on the star but although it is emitting particles from the points I could get them the right size. Either too big or too small I settled for too small.

  5. Well I for one appreciate the effort, wizardry and angst that has gone into the creation of this clip Adrian.

    1. YP, I will never be artistic but I do love the software. It is a bit nerdy but more entertaining than anything else I can think or be capable of. If you decide to have a go the renders take about ten hours and don't do what I do and cancel them because you can do better.

    3. Cat, at least 'X' is a letter colours are different as Black is not but if it is in CYMK it is; very confusing is messing in digital. The 'K' means black to posh printers.

    1. Marie, It Is. I am now on with the 'Happy New Year' one which will have lots of fireworks and a sound track. This job is a bit like tweeting but harder, unless I want to fire up another computer, the rendering takes days so I have to condense it all into ten seconds or so.

    1. Keith, I got beyond adjectives. My vocabulary ran out. I even cursed the dogs for chomping their dinner. I had to get things in perspective and give them a cuddle.
I can recall programming an Atari to make a little ball dance about. It doesn't get easier just more complicated.

  10. High praise indeed from an artist. It's rubbish but it was the best I could do.

  11. Good job. Well beyond almost all of the rest of us. And after your vid, I was encouraged to watch Sam Harris destroy Deepak Chopra. But I didn't. :)

  12. John. I thank the lord of computers that it runs fast and mistakes like adjusting graphic curves are not noticeable as are not reconfiguring the cursor to the individual letters when I have spent ages getting the wee devils apart. It's just fun and putting bones in the letters would be hysterical if I tried it.
