RAIN. (11/06/16)

It is dull and gentle rain is falling. Last night I settled down with a book. Empty Nets and Promises is a hundred pages of farce set in Campbeltown on the Kintyre peninsular and written by Denzil Meyrick. If you enjoyed Neil Munro’s Para Handy books then this will not disappoint.

I think a Blender day is in order. I have several projects on the go so hopefully I will keep dry and make some progress.

Todays pictures are all of blossom.

All todays pictures are tall and thin, that’s because trees are.

Have a great weekend.

  2. Not sure what the weather here is going to do. I'm not sure the weather knows either. I won't be photographing trees or pottering around in Blender. I have decided to make a concerted effort this weekend to start going through my thousands of photographs. If I start now and live till 103 then allowing for a slowdown after 90 I should get through them.

    1. Graham, good luck, it sounds as if you will need it. I have loads of digital images few of which I could find. Probably just as well.

  3. Sunny day here finally. Planting in the raised bed in the back yard is in order. Love these days.

Love your tree shots. Enjoy the day, whatever turn it takes!

    1. Marie, I suspect the trees are responsible for my streaming eyes and sneezes.

  4. It's raining here too. I wouldn't mind being like your tree pics -- tall and thin -- but I am fairly tall. :)

  5. I think most of the rain is staying this end of the country at the moment.

    1. John, we are having the best of the weather so far but it's just light here and foggy with light drizzle. The Barley needed the water so the clouds are doing some good.

  6. I used to be taller and thinner... and I used to enjoy what came out of my blender. Hmmmmm Oh that's right we're talking pictures here. That first shot is an EXPLOSION. Love it.

    1. Cheers Bill. I doubt anyone will be interested but I didn't Blender yesterday I found a better bit of software for the job, FREECAD. Blender can be used for design but is far from ideal.

  8. Lovely to see all those blossoms, a bit different from here right now. Although the gentle rain is the same.
