I FOUND SOMETHING NEW.

This is a short post showing a nifty trick in FreeCAD. It made my day when I discovered it.

After a drizzly day the sun is now shining and I really ought to go out mowing but tomorrow is forecast fine so I'll do it in the morning.
Have fun.

    1. Rachel, we didn't drill any winter barley this year or last year but lower down I see it is a good week or more away. Depending on the weather the spring barley is about a month or more away at best but it is looking good.

  2. Very nifty. I assume 'degrees of freedom' refers to parts which haven't been adjusted yet?

    1. John, yes all lines have to be defined or constrained with a dimension and position. I am not good at CAD but prefer using Sketches as opposed to Primitives. I would normally constrain bits as I draw them but did it this way to show the clever Polyline feature.
