TOMORROW IT MAY BE NICE (02/02/11)

Tomorrow it might be sunny, today is revolting………sleety rain, gusty and almost dark.

We have been back to St Andrew’s Church in Dent. I've taken loads of images and exposure blended them. I have also included non blended images so you can take your pick.

If you want an amusing post to cheer you up on a cold wet winters day have a look here. JUST CLICK.  This had me crying with laughter as did many other posts on this blog. This post you could send to your maiden aunt. It doesn’t reflect the average content so browse at your peril. There are however some real gems hidden here.

I’ll start with a rework of a picture from yesterday.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAI do enjoy doing these. I’ll have to print one large………Not this one as it has the car in.

On to the church of St Andrew

_2021352_3_4_5_6_7_8_tonemapped_edited-1      The HDR version…………………………………

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA       My best effort with a single exposure. All the following images will follow the same order. HDR first followed by a single exposure shot.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA That’s all for today. With the level of skill I bring to HDR I win in some areas and lose in others. I’ll practise a bit more.

I’ll see if we can get up higher for some landscapes tomorrow……………we’ll see.

  1. Brilliant link.

I've noticed how difficult it is to get the overall colour correct with HDR though they are still an improvement on a single shot, especially with high contrast content.
