  1. I'm suffering from that at the moment. It must be a world-wide "virus"!

  2. oh, yes, lovely shots! why do "weeds" have to be so beautiful, but prickly?

  3. I like your emphasis of colour in a sometimes grey world !! I've had difficulty motivating myself with the blog in recent weeks as there were a lot of social things to fulfil & got bogged down with two solid weeks worth of photo editing to sort out.

  4. Lovely flowers and a fun way to show them off. I hope you can deal with your own shades of gray and that your world becomes more colourful again soon.

Blue in a grey world; yea, I can relate to that.

  6. Glad to see there is still a little bit of colour shining through in the grey! Even among the thistles ;) (Eeyore's favourite, remember?)

  7. I like the effect here, Adrian. It certainly focuses one on the important parts of the photos.

  8. Very effective Adrian.....

Sometimes it can be difficult to find the motivation....My method is simple..If I am lacking motivation then I don't bother..!!!

  9. I think your shot of the thistle is just magic. Hope you kept some of it for yourself!

  10. Norma, I feel much better than I have lately...I really think that weed is in the eye of the beholder. Sea Holly is a weed so are Dog Roses but i far prefer them to the cultivated versions.

Jay, I've altered the technique. It's not quite one hit but only takes a moment.

Hilary, I'm fine........I really enjoy colour, sorry color popping.

Keith, I hope you get sorted. Feel free to pop up.

Monica, I like thistles and Teasels. They are good dead or alive.

Graham, It works well with people in landscapes. the latest method is easy. I'll do a seeing to.

Trevor, that's been my creed far too often.

Pauline, I'm good. I could do with a bit of magic though.
