WHAT IS THIS? (17/06/11)

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA         Several of the stinging nettles have this strange growth which affects the leaf stalk and the leaf edge. I assume it is a gall of some sort but can’t find any reference to it.

If you look carefully there is also an attractive beetle just above it…………Help!

  4. Hi Adrian It is a Mirid bug as Phil suggests but i think it may Grypocoris sexguttatus. thanks for the link to CJ I have left a message on his blog. Cheers.
