AT THE SEASIDE

FIRST SIGHT OF WHITBY........This is the panorama from above Sleights looking out over Whitby to the North Sea. Molly and arrived Friday evening. Been a bit hectic since so have not managed to get out with the camera. Tomorrow the forecast is good so hopefully a post full of photos later in the week.

EVENING LIGHT

ALFIE...............Molly's new cousin.

WHITBY PIER HEAD............This sluice and it's twin to the east are designed to stop waves entering the harbour. Seem to work too! Whitby is the only place on the east coast of England where one can see the sun both rise and set over the sea.
