Woke this morning, freezing cold and decided to get a picture or two for the New Year. Got a picture and a not very edifying one at that.
So plan 'B', a quick look at a few of the sights we've seen.
Bought myself Snagit for Christmas so maps should be better in future.
The following images are included because they reflect some of our best days. Some are new all have been reworked from the RAW files.
Captain Cook in Whitby, waiting for his Chinese takeaway!
One hundred foot overshot waterwheel in Weardale.
The train driver.........Having agreed to have her picture taken she went shy on me. So this was all I got.
Calder Idris........A touch on the damp side.
New Quay............Must include some sunny shots in Part two.
Emperor Dragonfly........Included simple because it took around five hours to get one in flight. Was almost ready to fetch the fly spray to the little devils.
Have a very, very happy year, my best wishes to you all.
Wondered what was on the menu, very nice too. did Cpt Cook ever get his Take away or did she go shy on him once she saw his chopsticks. wonder why they call them chopsticks?

Hi Adrian. I hope you have a wonderful year with High Expectations (See Pauline's posting High Expectations) which come to fruition. After all you have a more varied and interesting life at the moment than most people do. And you provide your blogging pals with hours of good reading and viewsing as well.
ReplyDeleteHave a really good one, Adrian.
GB, thank you, despite the horrors of air travel I suspect I may be starting to feel a touch of envy. Internet connection here is a nightmare but have a longer extension for the dongle so will start to catch up.
