_MG_2579       Molly ante-haircut.

_MG_2578      Alfie.

As usual Kirsten did a wonderful job with the little beasts.

_MG_2593     Post-haircut. It’s a pity I didn’t think to get mine done then we would all look smart for our journey to Glencoe tomorrow.

I have decided to get a medium format Alpa camera with a Phase One back. That will cost around £100K with all the bells and whistles. I don’t really need millions of dollars or pounds but it’s a shame to look a gift horse in the mouth.

Very kind people are Africans.

  1. Those babies of yours look so gorgeous after their grooming ~ look at them sitting there.

    1. Carol, it is rare for them to cooperate. Unless food is in the offining, I can say come here and they go there.

  2. They are almost unrecognizable now :) I know, because my Beni also looks this way when he goes to the groomer!

    1. Mersad, I have different collars on them and call 'Dog' ' If one comes I call the one I have by name and the missing one thinks it's missing something. I never have full control but usually have a modicum of authority with this system.

  5. That last picture of Alf and Molly I couldn't stop looking at. They are so cute! You are fortunate to have those two as companions.

The guy from Africa needs to work on his storytelling. He's never going to be a successful criminal if he can't tell a more believable story. It was entertaining though. Maybe he should take up blogging.

    1. David, they look cute but are wee devils in a white coat. I wouldn't be without them they add a little bit of order to a chaotic life.

It's years since I've seen an e-mail like this.

  6. What a cruel Doggy-Daddy you are Mr Adrian! It's wintertime! Alfie and Molly needed their hair to keep warm! Now you will have to purchase two tartan doggy coats instead. Send the bill to world renown philanthropist - Diyari Balam which translated means Greedy Tosser.

    1. YP, Moll doesn't feel the cold but Alf does so he has a miniature tailored horse rug. Bespoke by the horse rug stitchers here. I'll let you have a look at it tomorrow. It is a fine triple layered jacket but a bit long in the neck as he is a dog an not an 'orse.

  8. Hi Adrian... What a good chuckle that was... even the spelling is interesting LOL!!
I don't know what kind of people fall for this stuff, but some must or there wouldn't be these kook's trying there tactic's !!
The dogs look rather regal sitting there, instead of traveling trailer Gypsies!! (Just kidding)

    1. Grace, I really must go to bed. I thought I had money to burn. How this crap gets through a spam filter is beyond credibility. The good ones now come posing as Apple or Microsoft. I hate spam and am thinking of switching to Umbuto which is posh Linnux. Apple are now getting spammed and most Apple users don't have anti spam, firewalls or anything. For years I've used Microsoft Security , it's free and does a fair job.

  9. It was about time! They couldn't even see with all that hair! It's funny that you posted one of those scams.

    1. Maria, how they see is a mystery but even with that hair they don't miss anything. You can chuck a tit bit up and they never miss. I have mine done three times a year. The working ones are done twice. They are wonderful ratters and are protected by the hair from rat bites. Rats carry Weals disease or some such. OR is it Lymes disease, I think the latter you catch from deer ticks. I have a £100's worth of treatment for tic disease as Scotland is rife with it. I find tics beautiful in their own way. I have taken macros of them. They live and all life is wonderful as long as it isn't living in my armpit.

  10. I'll bet the dogs feel a 100 times better with a haircut. they look like new dogs.
One always wonders at these scammers. They must latch on to somebody or they wouldn't try it. I can tell you were most impressed.

  11. The doggies are uber-cute and look ultra-spiffy. I don't mean to sound pedantic, but the opposite of post-haircut is ante-haircut (not anti-haircut). Ante means before; Anti means against or opposed to. Alfie and Mollie may well be opposed to haircuts, but I don't think that's what you meant.

  12. I get those types of emails all the time. Quite funny to read. I was going to say 'do they imagine we are that stupid', but I guess some people must be, otherwise they wouldn't bother. The dogs look much neater after the haircut.

    1. Laura, cute is only skin deep. They are little devils inside. Two dogs are fine but they only learn bad things from each other. Never the good things.

  14. Maybe they should stick to taming the lions with the dog grooming service they do .... looks a lot better than the English lessons :-)
