PLAGUE? (13/12/09)

Yesterday morning found me feeling very lethargic. Nothing to worry about just a mild dose of bubonic plague I suspect. Nipped down into Tavistock to do a bit of shopping. On the way back stopped on the moor to give the dog a run. A beautiful morning and one which should have been spent walking. Just hadn't the energy.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA      Great Staple Tor.

Went back to the van and moped about. Gave myself a good talking to and decided on giving the van a good clean. Polished up very well.

All sparkling bright.

That done decided to put up my Christmas decoration.

Looked OK on the lap top...............Not very practical so moved it to the spare bed, be fine there.

Thrilled with the success of this operation decided to 'Virtually' decorate the outside.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA Very Sparkly and green too.........No electric bill!!

All the best.

  2. Well Adrian you really went over the top with the internal decorations. I see you had the slow c on was it cos u did not want to get that sparkling gas cooker dirty, a nice pad you have got yourself there,
I too get days when I do not feel like going out, need to get molly trained to fetch , a ball is best it goes further on a bounce than a stick. then you can stand in the doorway throw and say fetch the arm will acke after a while but will save on the legs. but seriously I hope you are ok,

  3. Tony was going to get some fairy lights but thought why bother. No hob cleaned cos I'd just fried up some neck of lamb and kidneys prior to bunging them in the cooker. No I'm OK, mostly it's the cold get in me bones. Off to Lydford Falls tomorrow so god willing will get a pic or two

  5. Goodness me - such extravagance on the indoor Christmas decorations ;)
I hope your 'bus' has efficient heating when winter bites later in the week. Looks like you have found another nice area to explore.

  6. John, no expense spared. Can get inside temperature up to 23C in ten minutes. It's designed to operate down to minus twenty, so all should be well.

  7. Great stuff again Adrian. Lydford Falls is a beautiful place Adrian just keep Molly on the lead by the waterfall. I remember going late afternoon one summers day and on the walk back the heavens opened. It was brilliant...like walking in a rain forest. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

  10. Well, I think the internal decoration is charming. Very understated. And the outer ones - would 'style' do?

    Hope the plague has receeded.
