More shots of Whitby. I’m here for another week so things may get a little repetitive. I’ll do my best to throw in the odd bit of interest.
A quick pen and colour washed sketch…………………..Not really….. All Photoshop.
Gill netters out at first light this morning…………It’s the early fisherman catches the Salmon.
The Photographistess………………again early this morning………..I fell in love…….With her camera…. Five thousand pounds worth of Nikon…….My sort of girl!
When in Whitby have an ice cream but not one of these. It is GM free, nut free, gluten free in fact there appears to be very little in it at all.
Clara’s a proper ice cream is sold here and scooped by an angel. Try saying ninety-nine whilst admiring the best legs in the ice cream trade.
I’m back up at Ugthorpe for the weekend, the weather is perfect. I wish you all a very nice time.
I'd love an ice cream right now. Your pictures are astounding, the sea fishing and the girl with a astonishing camera.
ReplyDeleteWonderful to see the sunshine and your superb photos ~ including the ones using your HDR and Photoshop skills. Oh,oh Ugthorpe is in the wrong direction to Pickering where the UK Tractor show is on this weekend, but still only about 25 minutes away!

Love, love the photo of the Photographistess. I've just had a stray thought. You could start a little side album of the angels you see in your travels, the newspaper girl, the girl at the tap and now the icecream girl. Might not do your reputation any good, though! hehe
ReplyDeleteBob, the shot of the photographer was pure luck, I dread to think what her gear is worth, lenses of the most basic sort would double the cost of a top end Nikon.
ReplyDeleteGlo, glad you enjoyed the sun I am. Can't face Pickering and the crowds. Had it been inclement I would have risked it.
Pauline you forget the Cabess. there's beauty everywhere when you get to my age. it was lucky spotting her shadow and reflection. A little horrifying when I met her later and saw the amount of gear she was lugging around.
