NORMALITY RETURNS. (02/01/15)

It’s over for another year.

Tomorrow I’m celebrating by moving on. I am going to a small place that lies between Arisaig and Mallaig. I have been in early summer to a place not far away from where I’m going. I’ll call at Fort William on the way for food and tobacco. I’ve been  abstemious this past few weeks but will get some beers in as the forecast doesn’t look too promising.

Yesterday was horrendous by Loch Ness, it never stopped raining. Today has been much better with a few sunny spells and sleet and snow showers. _V0G7660

_V0G7665    Three views of Loch Ness in a rare bit of sunshine.

Have a good weekend. I should have internet where I’m going but if not then I’ll be back as and when.

  4. Happy New Year Adrian. Looks a bit grim although in my eyes your next destination can do no wrong, spent many a happy hour on locations next to the B8008 near Morar.

  7. The lake looks pretty rough. The last photos you showed reflections as it was very calm.

  10. HI Adrian I hope you get better weather where you are going next. At least a bit more sun. Love the sun peeping though in the last shot. Have a good and safe journey.

  11. If you cast your internet into the sea at Camusdarach you may catch some virtual fish! I can still remember camping at Arisaig when I was nine or ten. Beautiful beaches and the weather that summer was sub-tropical. Safe travelling Cap'n!

  15. I would so love to trek into these areas. I can only imagine the birds there. I know there might not be many right now, but I imagine there are some good ones hiding inside the coves!

    1. Graham, so do I. Sheds seem to evolve to suit their surroundings.
