It’s over for another year.
Tomorrow I’m celebrating by moving on. I am going to a small place that lies between Arisaig and Mallaig. I have been in early summer to a place not far away from where I’m going. I’ll call at Fort William on the way for food and tobacco. I’ve been abstemious this past few weeks but will get some beers in as the forecast doesn’t look too promising.
Yesterday was horrendous by Loch Ness, it never stopped raining. Today has been much better with a few sunny spells and sleet and snow showers.
Three views of Loch Ness in a rare bit of sunshine.
Have a good weekend. I should have internet where I’m going but if not then I’ll be back as and when.
I like the middle picture with the sheds. Storm and rain here today, I've been staying in!
ReplyDeleteMonica, it is the best place to be is in.
DeleteAnd it looks like it is choppy, I love Loch Ness, yes I do.
ReplyDeleteBob, it was a bit windy. I love Loch Ness.
DeleteAdriaan you say ice, you look a little off? will you better wait a day?
ReplyDeleteBas, it should be fine the gritter drives through early morning.
DeleteHappy New Year Adrian. Looks a bit grim although in my eyes your next destination can do no wrong, spent many a happy hour on locations next to the B8008 near Morar.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jay. It is a beautiful place if I get some light.
DeleteAll done for another year.
ReplyDeleteLike the last shot Adrian.
Have a safe journey.
Keith, it wasn't too bad this year. I'll take my time slip sliding along.
DeleteYes, whistling as we move on! Cheers!

Thank you Cloudia. I'll put some relaxing music on.
DeleteSafe travels, Adrian.
ReplyDeleteThanks Pauline.
DeleteThe lake looks pretty rough. The last photos you showed reflections as it was very calm.
ReplyDeleteRed, it has been a wild couple of days.
DeleteIn spite of the bits of sunshine it looks drear. Safe on.
ReplyDeleteJoanne, it would be much worse in town. I'm off to the seaside.
DeleteHappy new year Adrian!!
ReplyDeleteRuby, and to you as well.
DeleteHope you have a good 2015 Adrian. Liked the images of the Loch, I liked the image with the boat in it but really like the last image with the grey clouds coming in over the mountain tops
ReplyDeleteDouglas, I caught it as good as it was going to get. You have a good year.
DeleteHI Adrian I hope you get better weather where you are going next. At least a bit more sun. Love the sun peeping though in the last shot. Have a good and safe journey.
ReplyDeleteThanks Margaret. It will be fine.
DeleteBest to you Adrian!
ReplyDeleteThank you Maria.
DeleteIf you cast your internet into the sea at Camusdarach you may catch some virtual fish! I can still remember camping at Arisaig when I was nine or ten. Beautiful beaches and the weather that summer was sub-tropical. Safe travelling Cap'n!
ReplyDeleteYP, it can be stunning here. I just wish the weather would cheer up.
DeleteNice place. You have any spare room? My Mol and your Mol could bunk together...
ReplyDeleteR. Mac, it is a good place. Your Molly is a bit large for the van.
DeleteEn reposo están ahora esas barcas.
ReplyDeleteUn beso.
Necesito un beso y un abrazo Laura.
DeleteI wish you a Happy New Year Adrian, and I'm looking forward where your journey takes you next. These landscapes are really beautiful.

Mersad, I hope I find some winter weather.
DeleteI would so love to trek into these areas. I can only imagine the birds there. I know there might not be many right now, but I imagine there are some good ones hiding inside the coves!
ReplyDeleteChris it is a good place in spring.
DeleteWhat is it with sheds? I love them.
ReplyDeleteGraham, so do I. Sheds seem to evolve to suit their surroundings.
