A BIG FAT ZERO (11/04/10)

It’s been a perfect day for weather but not very productive. We had an enjoyable hour watching frogs and Toads but no macro shots as they were all in the pool.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA     The river level has fallen quite dramatically during the week.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA      Me and my shadow, a common frog.

Tomorrow we are leaving Haltwhistle and going to the Kielder Forest for a week, a week that will be internet free I suspect. have a good week wherever you are.

  4. Have a good time in the Keilder. The last time I overnighted in a caravan totally 'in the middle of nowhere' was in the Keilder. Happy days.

  8. I didn't know frogs had horns!

I gather from your blogging-free week that you've been without internet as you suspected. Hope you'll have plenty of photos to blog when you find the blogsphere again.

  9. Keith, ta, we'll see.

    Bob, so do I.

    Pauline I'll do my best.

    Gb, Let's hope so.

Dawntreader, it's the best of a bad lot.

Crista, They are very aware of shadows and I suspect vibration through the ground, I just sit down and they usually appear.

John, back on line after one of the most frustrating weeks of this journey. Character building! There are other ways of describing it.
