SATURDAY NIGHT AND SUNDAY MORNING. (30/11/14)

Saturday was another day when it struggled to get light. After collecting the dogs from their haircutter, I got changed and headed down to Kinross for the Christmas Market. It was very dark, I didn’t have any strobes as they are in the camper. It wasn’t a bad do but not very exciting._MG_0962   The crowds wandering towards the market…….All two of them.

_MG_0963     There were lots of folk about when I arrived. It could have been better lit, folk were wandering about and bumping into each other, stepping in puddles and cursing…..Quite good fun.

_MG_0971    Carol Singers.

_MG_0976    Folk Singers. There was also The Salvation Army Brass Band but they were in a really dark place. It was not the best evening out but it was worth attending.

This morning dawned bright and sunny.

_MG_0983 Holly basking in the sunshine.

_MG_0988 Barely a cloud in the sky.

_MG_0995   Alf with his new haircut. He’s already found some muck.

_MG_0985     Moll is no better they are mucky little devils.

_MG_1000    Sun on Hen.

_MG_0989    Loch Leven. It is a wonderful day but it isn’t forecast to last. I’m hoping to get out for a walk this afternoon. I bet it rains on me.

Have a good week.

  1. Have a good week too Mr Adrian. The natural light in those morning photos is interesting.

  2. That looked like a 'happening' do Adrian, everyone looks full of festive cheer?

I'm sure you wouldn't want that mucky pair to be any different?

Now, that last picture?....We all know that the Scots are world famous for promoting their golfing heritage...I know why now...it's not the size of their egos, it's the size of their bloody balls!!! ....[;o)

    1. Trevor, I enjoy small town dos'.
When it comes to the dogs then what i want is irrelevant.
This golf ball is for stopping Russian attacks. Who the hell they get to throw it I've never found out. It is for sale if you want it. There's a board up.

  3. I am so please to see that Alf and Moll have just had light trims and not crewcuts. "Mucky little devils"? They say that pets take after their owners. Our cat read Shakespeare and could drink six pints of bitter before visiting the lavatory.

    1. YP, I am hairier than the dogs. We are equally noisy.

    1. Margaret, I should have got a picture before I let them out. It takes them seconds to pick up muck.

  6. I really like all of these, and how you have played with light in them. Loch Leven is especially beautiful in the light of the setting sun.

    1. Mersad, having light is so unusual that it was fun. Low strong sunlight and the lens wide open can work well.

  7. Typical dogs always know when to splash around. Found out the first trig point was erected in my neck of the woods. Cold Ashby in Northamptonshire 1936.

    1. Douglas, they don't like the smell of dog shampoo. Little sods.
I have never seen anyone use a Trig Point. I suspect they were redundant before I was born.

  8. That first one captures that cold damp, why did I bother coming out, feeling very well.

    1. Patsy, it was just damp. It is warm up here not jacket or thermal weather but I suspect that will change during the next fortnight.

  9. There seem to be a lot of these 'markets' around at the moment Adrian. Is Christmas nearing by any chance?

  12. Local Christmas markets? They're the best. I'm sure it was worthwhile to go to. The dark made for some good mood photos.

    1. Red, without flash I just set the camera to 1/100s, f3.5 and shuffle ISO. I end up with a few that are too dark and a few that are blurred but most seem to work.
