STILL HERE. (08/11/15)

It’s still reasonably warm out but definitely not photography weather. It’s dull, wet and quite depressing.

I am getting quite confident in Blender and should have a short video within a few days. I just keep finding better ways to do things and would now like to do all the compositing in Blender as well as just construct the rockets and stuff.

Here is a quick snap of the last of the leaves. It really has been a wonderful autumn._MG_2401

I keep alternating reading with 3D messing and now it’s time for a bit more of my book.

Have a good week.

  1. My book? "The Van" by Roddy Doyle or "The Beginner's Photography Guide" by Chris Gatcum?

    1. No, The Cuckoo, Robert Galbraith. Though funnily enough I have ordered a book on Spilt Grade printing.

  2. I get the picture. When it's nice out we get many photos. When its down weather the movie gets worked on. and when your head is spinning after working on the movie, read a good book. You live a good life.

    1. Mersad, I'm not sure when it will be done if ever. I am starting from a background and working a proper scene.

  5. Yep, I reckon most of us are frustrated by the current weather, Adrian - comfortably (or even uncomfortably?) warm, but wrecked by strong winds and frequent periods of heavy rain. Definitely not the weather to take the camera out in.

Are we going to have to wait for the final results with this video, or will we be treated to the work in progress? It might help some of the thickies amongst us (I'm thinking of myself here!) understand the process and your trials and tribulations!

    Best wishes - - - Richard

    1. Richard after yesterdays efforts there could be no conclusion to show.
I will put together a bit of it but there are few folk interested. The problem is visualising a 3D model before I render it with materials. It just looks like a load of numbers with a solid or wireframe model in the middle.
I will think about doing a video screen grab and some stills then a bit of a finished render. I could do with a monitor twice the size as it does get very cluttered.
