SEASIDE. (06/08/14)

Yesterday was, despite the forecast, dry and sunny, I went out macroing but failed miserably.

Here are a few unrelated photographs of a sunny day.

_MG_3306    This is for Laura M. The right hand Vespa looked quite a large machine. These have come all the way from Germany.

_MG_3323      Brrr!

_MG_3330     A hardy lot round here.

_MG_3311      Molly wet for the third time in a day.

_MG_3320         Alf investigating a sand castle. I knew this was going to prove embarrassing.

_MG_3321          So it did. Can’t take the little devil anywhere.

I’m waiting for parcels today. I may get out later. Have fun.

  2. Italy was a good place for red Vespas and France. Are they popular in England? I can't recall seeing many. I had one as a teenager. At 17 I used to travel to London on it down the A5 after work. I last rode one around Stewart Island at the very southern tip of New Zealand. I wouldn't like to drive one into Stornoway these days.

    1. Graham, the one on the right is 300cc. I dread to think what they cost. I never liked the things.

    1. Laura, es un largo camino desde Alemania. No creo que me gustaría viajar tan lejos.
      Los perros son traviesos.

  4. Maybe we should all follow Alf's example. If there's something we disapprove of, we simply urinate upon it. Tesco stores would be flooded and there'd be a queue to use Nick Clegg's letterbox.

    1. YP, an excellent idea. I quite fancy using the Strangers gallery as a platform.

    1. John, thanks. the camera does it on burst shoot and A1 Servo focus. The girls were pleased but I had to delete a few. She said her arse looked big, I agreed and got a clout. Nobody looks good in a wetsuit.

  7. I would like to be there in this moment to take a refreshing swim

  8. Laura, the water is too cold. there are icebergs a few miles north. Little children go in the water but grown up people all have wetsuits on.

    1. Horst, I had to delete the less flattering pictures. I have done many things with Photoshop but I've never tried the warp tool.

    2. I hate to tell you this but its the Liquify Tool that you use to slim down the bums of the beautiful ladies. See if you can find a tutorial on how to use this great tool.

  11. Where was Alf when I was a kid?....to fill the moat around my sand castles I had to run backwards and forwards to the sea with my little bucket!...[;o)

    1. Trevor, he doesn't help himself or his fellow dogs. Most beaches in England seem to have a dog ban. I can see why.

  12. LOL!!!! Love the run on the beach:) Lucky pooches. The castle is a classic. What can you do?:) Plus the ocean will wash it all away. Looks like a fine day out.

    1. Horst, it has always been in Photoshop as long as I can remember. I've never had any call for it.

  16. Oh and Alf is even better :)

  17. Mersad, I did shout... NO. That's why he turned round whilst pissing. It is high summer here and until a couple of weeks ago he had the beach to himself.
Most Scottish beaches allow dogs on so we have German dogs, French dogs, Italian dogs, Dutch dogs. It isn't a problem they usually get on fine, the odd snap now and again but my dogs need a bite.

  20. Great shots all round, his & hers bikes possibly and the alternate Highland Games.

... hope the tide came in quickly !

    1. Jay, you cannot hurry the tide. The moon is in charge and it's too big and too far away to argue with.
