HDRIs are full 360° light emitting high dynamic range panoramas that allow one to illuminate scenes in Blender. I have used them but never understood how to make them work properly. I have the job sorted now so decided to make a video. This was shot just as I did it so maybe it's a little slow. I usually edit out the bits where I get muddled up but thought it worth leaving them in this time.
At the end are two bits of video I'd put in the skip as they are slightly out of focus. I decided to have a play with them.
Have fun.
Have fun.
You lost me on the journey, Adrian, but I enjoyed the destination! Best wishes - - - Richard
ReplyDeleteRichard, I find it very hard to understand. It can be the very devil at times.
DeleteYou lost me also but you are very clever. Have a lovely weekend.
ReplyDeleteMargaret, not very clever it's more a matter of being interested.
DeleteLooks to have endless possibilities for better realism in scenes.
ReplyDeleteJust the right speed of explanation for me. Well done.
John, I am about halfway through part two which hopefully will lay this little bit of Blender to rest. I'll do a full render on the new part with a big HDRI. I've stopped using Easy HDRI as it is just as quick to do it from scratch.
