COLOUR. (18/03/16)

I’ve not got very much to show as the weather has been cool and foggy. I’ve had a friend to stay so that brightened up dismal days and evenings.
I love the winter colours and as new growth is starting to show this will be the last of them for this year.

Now brace yourselves for a rare picture of me and Molly taken by Claire.

The old wrinkly.
Have a great weekend.

  3. Yep, not long now before the muted colours of winter are lost and everything will be bathed in full colour and sunshine, although you wouldn't think it by what's on offer here today, overcast grey clouds, after early mist and drizzle and a high of 5°. Winter seems to be still hanging on, I did see my first Hoverflies of the year yesterday so things might be looking up?

    Looking at the pair of you in the last picture, am I right in thinking that there might be a shortage of barbers in Scotland?...[;o{

    1. Trevor it's cool here today.
      They have all gone to work in London or somewhere civilised.
      Nothing flying here yet but temperatures are similar to yours.

  8. The chimney appears to be coming out of the top of your head--- no doubt to cool the parts of your brain being overworked by new software challenges..... Actually, a great picture of the gentleman and the doggy.

    1. Bill, I was going to move or remove it but then thought what the hell. It's a naive photograph. Poor lass is used to a phone camera.

  11. Pronto esos colres cambiaran por otros más rillantes y bonitos. Nos gusta verte de vez en cuando y no estás tan raro como dices.
    Buen fin de semana Adrian ;)

  12. I wish I could find a portrait subject with a face as interesting as yours. Minus the chimney growing out of the top of the head, of course.

    1. Pauline there must be people with wrinkly faces in New Zealand. Chimneys as well. I think I might get some of that botox.

  13. I think winter is having one last go. Though I have spotted the odd bumblebee (2) and a solitary butterfly
