It is dull and gentle rain is falling. Last night I settled down with a book. Empty Nets and Promises is a hundred pages of farce set in Campbeltown on the Kintyre peninsular and written by Denzil Meyrick. If you enjoyed Neil Munro’s Para Handy books then this will not disappoint.
I think a Blender day is in order. I have several projects on the go so hopefully I will keep dry and make some progress.
Todays pictures are all of blossom.
HAWTHORN.
HAWTHORN AND ASH.
HAWTHORN IN THE DARK.
All todays pictures are tall and thin, that’s because trees are.
Have a great weekend.
I like the first shot of the blossom. Have a great weekend with your blender
ReplyDeleteMargaret, change of plan but I will Blender later. Tomorrow may be sunny again.
DeleteNot sure what the weather here is going to do. I'm not sure the weather knows either. I won't be photographing trees or pottering around in Blender. I have decided to make a concerted effort this weekend to start going through my thousands of photographs. If I start now and live till 103 then allowing for a slowdown after 90 I should get through them.
ReplyDeleteGraham, good luck, it sounds as if you will need it. I have loads of digital images few of which I could find. Probably just as well.
DeleteSunny day here finally. Planting in the raised bed in the back yard is in order. Love these days.
ReplyDeleteLove your tree shots. Enjoy the day, whatever turn it takes!
Marie, I suspect the trees are responsible for my streaming eyes and sneezes.
DeleteIt's raining here too. I wouldn't mind being like your tree pics -- tall and thin -- but I am fairly tall. :)
ReplyDeleteJohn, remember they don't put bay windows in privies.
DeleteI think most of the rain is staying this end of the country at the moment.
ReplyDeleteJohn, we are having the best of the weather so far but it's just light here and foggy with light drizzle. The Barley needed the water so the clouds are doing some good.
DeleteI used to be taller and thinner... and I used to enjoy what came out of my blender. Hmmmmm Oh that's right we're talking pictures here. That first shot is an EXPLOSION. Love it.
ReplyDeleteCheers Bill. I doubt anyone will be interested but I didn't Blender yesterday I found a better bit of software for the job, FREECAD. Blender can be used for design but is far from ideal.
Deletei can smell that blossom down here.
ReplyDeletepeter
Peter the Blackthorn is finished but Hawthorn is still in full flower. A great display this year.
DeleteLovely to see all those blossoms, a bit different from here right now. Although the gentle rain is the same.
ReplyDeletePauline, things are running a little late this year but it is a good show.
ReplyDeleteI like your description, tall and thin, cause that's how trees grow! :) Nice shots and I hope you have a lovely Sunday!
ReplyDeleteTerri, they don't fit sideways.
DeleteI'm hoping you've had a better weekend up there than us down south, I think going by the heavy rain today our weather patterns have gone Tits up
ReplyDeleteDouglas, steady rain all day here.
Deleteyour beautiful blossoms are the light of the forest !
ReplyDeletebright photos Adrian
