SHOCKING. (18/10/12)

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA     Bamborough Castle………This was taken two years ago.

I wasn’t going to post today but I had to share the following story. A blind man has been Tasered  by the Manchester Constabulary. Now I know I shouldn’t laugh but I can’t help myself. What was he doing? Attacking them, calling them f…..g plebs, tampering with little girls and boys, mugging pensioners………Don’t be silly! He was wandering along tapping the pavement with his wee white stick…..acting like any other normal blind man. Why was he stunned by the boys in blue………….They mistook his stick for a samurai sword…….A mistake any Bobby could make! Poor devil, I bet he applies for a guide dog now.

That’s all for today.

  4. I have to say that the men in blue are making it very difficult for their most ardent supporters to defend them these days. Thank heaven we have photos like this one to lift our spirits.

    1. Graham, don't despair as of today the police have been given new powers. Artificial Intelligence. The Chief Constable of Greater Manchester commented. "Dead Cool Innit!"

  6. Sometimes there's just no common sense. People like the blind man need support from the cops rather than extreme harassment.

  7. Beautiful picture. The story is so weird it has to be true. They need white sticks if they can't recognize a blind man by his white cane better than that.
That's got to get some kind of award for dumb with a capitol "D"!

  8. OH my!!! This reeks of stupidity. Hope they get fired. Or maybe the blind man was a spy and his blind stick was a weapon of mass destruction and neutralized the threat before he could attack them. The consequences should be interesting for the officers involved:)

    1. Pauline, This isn't a no-one this is a policeman. Google it and it is just as I have said. Worse in fact, the poor bloke was handcuffed whilst screaming I'm a blind man,

  10. Great photo of that lovely castle. When I was in the area, Bill Oddie was there filming for his TV series, and I ended up appearing in the background on the show (not a pretty sight!).
Doesn't surprise me what that copper did: I've been stopped twice in my own neighbourhood for the heinous crime of walking along the street. Guess I must just look suspicious!

    1. Jeremy, Bill Oddie is not a pretty sight so don't worry.
I was arrested for attacking a potential rapist. I thought I was going down for GBH not getting a medal. They are odd folk are the boys in blue.
