It’s been a grand week, the leaves are still hanging on and putting on a good show.
Here are a few pictures for the weekend.
I am going to look at another Bronica, this one is an SQ A and takes 6x6 images.
Enjoy the weekend, heavy rain is forecast for here so it looks as if I’ll get wet.
HI Adrian I am sure you and the dog lve walking in the forest and lanes that have the fallen/ or not yet autumn leaves. It is a lovely time of the year and this year I thnnk the colours have been better than last year (here anyway).Have a great weekend and I hope theweather is not too bad as I am going to Copeland Island for the weekend!
ReplyDeleteMargaret, it has been a very good autumn.
DeleteLovely shots...great place for the dogs to get some good walks. Have a good weekend !
ReplyDeleteKathleen, the dogs would spend all day wandering given the chance.
DeleteGet wet? I have sometimes wondered how you shower or bath yourself in your camper van. Can't be easy. Lovely picture of Alf...or is it Molly... sniffing around on the woodland path. So autumnal.
ReplyDeleteYP, I have a shower in the van or if it's warm enough use the one on the site.
DeleteThanks for asking that, YP. What a relief. I had been working wondering, but was too ladylike to ask.
DeleteYes usually in the van and once a year on my birthday whether I need one or not.
Deleteyeah...not great pictures of the pups...but they're there.!!
ReplyDeleteOkay...I want to go for a hike now.
R.Mac, I wasn't intending them to be but couldn't be bothered arguing.
DeleteLooks like you've got a couple more weeks to go yet before your 'playground' puts on it's full Autumnal colours Adrian?
ReplyDeleteAnd another camera to add to the collection, you'll soon be running out of space to keep them all?
All the best for the weekend...[;o)
Trevor, I'm saving a roll of velvia but I bet we get a gale before the colour really gets going.
DeleteI didn't get the camera, it only had a 220 back and the mirror and screen weren't very good.
It would be perfect to go there with the dogs walking and rain predicted? / Fortunately it does not always matter.
ReplyDeleteBas, no rain is normal here.
DeleteThose beech tees are just stunning. It's been a wonderful autumn for colour this year; here, at least.
ReplyDeleteFrances, it has been very good so far. I just hope we don't get a gale for a while.
DeleteI really like the landscape in the last photo. Now is your header new or have I been completely out of it. Anyway, nice header!
ReplyDeleteRed, it was new six months ago, I'm trying to think of an idea for a new one. I can do one for you if you would like one.
DeleteI am really slow. I will work on mine and if I get completely stuck I know where I can go.
DeleteI really like the look of the lane's in the first two images. By all accounts Sunday is supposed to be really nice sadly Saturday is a bit sucky
ReplyDeleteDouglas, there are miles of forestry track here. I'll have to borrow the quad bike again.
DeleteI've just had a couple of weeks off work myself... had a great time just watching wildlife.
ReplyDeleteAndrew, yes I've been seeing.
DeleteLovely shots--- It is the search that counts: A perfect Bronica in your case, the perfect Mahler 7th, or Beethoven 9th for me. For me there is also a hope that there will be an election which includes someone I can actually vote FOR. At my age, that one seems doubtful.
ReplyDeleteBill, I would like a Hasselblad but am not prepared to pay for one. Our politicians are an appaling lot but yours look ten times worse.
DeleteLovely read have a great weekend
ReplyDeletepeter
Peter, thank you.
DeleteThose are two beautiful locations, Adrian - if I'm right and image no.4 is just a bit further on than No.1? (I can see that 2 & 3 are from the same point). Whereabouts are you based currently?
ReplyDeleteHoping the rain doesn't prevent your photography - - - Richard
Richard, Glassarts Glen, lots of deer, owls and red squirrel but the dogs tend to dissuade them from posing.
DeleteGLASSARTS.
wonderful places to enjoy a walk and autumn
ReplyDeleteeven if it rains !
happy weekend
Marty very good at any time of the year. I'm hoping for some mist in the valley today.
