I'm sure you'll soon shake off that fed up feeling and be back to your usual self Adrian? At least it looks like you've got a little bit of sunshine up there, it's been mostly grey, dark, damp and dismal here for the last few days, and seems to be set for the same for most of next week too...and that's enough to make anyone fed up!!...[;o{
Sometimes we have down periods but don't let it continue. I have a medication that makes me feel blue from time to time. I realize it and luckily it doesn't hang around very long.
Fed up? Try a course of "Philosan" Adrian because "Philosan fortifies the over forties!" I guess that many people experience a sinking in their general mood as days shorten and the wintry darkness arrives.
YP, I am not overcome with lassitude which is just as well a I have a couple of monster strobes to sort out tomorrow. I hate the job and never cease to be amazed that Canon can sell cameras with a sync speed of 1/250s. It means I have to use ND filters to get blurry backgrounds and sharp eyes. ND filters are fine but I then can't see to focus. I'll get a Phase 1 camera if I win the lottery they sync at any speed with a leaf shutter lens.
Hi adrian You should have nipped over to Northern Ireland this week. We had sun all the way and yesterday was really warm but sorry you are feeing fed up. I nipped over to islay yesterday, perfect flat crossing both ways. Fantastic day out. Life can only get better.
Laura had a good turn of phrase there---- fed upness. Very apt. Probably from living with me, I do like the picture, and I'm glad you chose it to be the one...
Sorry to hear that you've not had a good week. I too have been in the doldrums for a while and not been on Blogger for a while. I hope to be putting all that behind me now.
I like photos with clouds, this one is beautiful, love sepia color ! I wish you a wonderful week and if you have not, I send you a piece of french sun !!!
Been there... fed upness can be daunting. Hope you find your way through in record breaking time.
ReplyDeleteLaura, I usually try to stop smoking in the middle of the month for a week. I'll away and get some tobacco.

Trevor the weather is cold and overcast but the sun tries to make an appearance. I will get out for a long walk tomorrow that usually does the trick.
DeleteIf you're like me then mood is directly related to weather conditions, especially strength of daylight.
ReplyDeleteJohn, dark doesn't help. Just back from the shop and resisted the temptation to get something to smoke not that lack of tobacco usually bothers me.
DeleteHere's hoping for you.
ReplyDeleteJohn, many thanks.
DeleteAdriaan but if you go with this kind of photo, s come home then your day is already good?
ReplyDeleteBas Wednesday I am hoping to get up the hill early for some good pictures. I bet it's raining.

ReplyDeleteBill, views like this should be an everyday occurrence at this time of year but the weather is very quiet so far.
DeleteThink nice thoughts about yourself and other people and think positive at all times. That should help.
ReplyDeleteThanks Rachel.
DeleteThat one shot is a beauty, Adrian!
