THE FINAL LOAD OF BALLS.

I couldn't leave the blasted Helter Skelter alone until I had sorted the camera tracking job. After much brain ache and some rather naughty words I have managed to get it something like. I have also improved the design of the spiral bit.

These are basic materials and if I can think of something to do with this thing then I'll pop a decent finish on it.

Richard said that he thought Blender a little complex. It is. This is the video editor, I am a fan and much prefer it to the Adobe version. It's also free.

Here is the short video of the camera tracking both the spiral on the Helter Skelter and the blue ball. There were times I thought it would defeat me.

That's all until I find something else to grab my interest.

  1. Another great milestone achieved. Well done. I don't have the patience or long enough periods of concentration for that level of animation. Was the drop down title 'Dope Sheet Summary' your choice or the softwares I wonder ;)

    1. John. I switch that window between Dope Sheet and Graph editor or can close it altogether. This isn't done with key frames it is all a matter of adjusting the timing on the bezier helix or a Nurbs helix in this case. The desk top gets in a bit of a mess sometimes even with two monitors.

    1. Frances it works here. When you click play you can then click YouTube and it will play much larger in YouTube, the rectangular box sends it full screen.

  3. BEAUTIFUL!! At least your balls aren't squidgy any more, Adrian! Before you start looking for a theory of relativity for your next project, someone has already beaten you to it. Best wishes - - - Richard

    1. Richard, I stopped messing with the soft balls.............to much luck involved. That Einstein chap was very bright but he cheated and used a pencil and paper.

    1. I'm happy you like it. It's not art but it is satisfying when it works.
