POPPING THE SEED IN.

Today I have a five minute video showing a New Holland 8360 drilling Barley. The light was great to start with but then it went dark and hailed. Such is life. It saved fading the video out to black so this cloud did have a silver lining.

The excuse we have for a government go from bad to worse. They are truly awful. Here is a joke to brighten your day.

One day a florist went to a barber for a haircut. After the cut, he asked about his bill, and the barber replied, 'I cannot accept money from you, I'm doing community service this week.'

The florist was pleased and left the shop.

When the barber went to open his shop the next morning, there was a 'thank you' card and a dozen roses waiting for him at his door.

Later, a cop comes in for a haircut, and when he tries to pay his bill, the barber again replied, 'I cannot accept money from you, I'm doing community service this week.' The cop was happy and left the shop.

The next morning when the barber went to open up, there was a 'thank you ' card and a dozen donuts waiting for him at his door.

Then a MP came in for a haircut, and when he went to pay his bill , the barber again replied, 'I cannot accept money from you. I'm doing community service this week.' The MP was very happy and left the shop

The next morning, when the barber went to open up, there were a dozen MPs lined up waiting for a free haircut.

And that, my friends, illustrates the fundamental difference between the citizens of our country and the politicians who run it.

*As Margaret Thatcher said: Both politicians and nappies need to be changed often and for the same reason!*
That's all.

    1. Richard it isn't my joke so feel free. My Brother-in-Law emailed it. Where he got it from I don't know.

  2. Always fascinating watching machinery at work and the land conditions there. The land round me is so flat I can see for miles.

As the saying goes - many a true word is spoken in jest.

  3. We have the same machinery working here on the fields!
I like the story, also! :)
    My best regards from Romania!

    1. Daliana, I suspect your machinery is as old as ours.

  4. I hear a tractor going round and round here, too. Except we have just harvested the maize and are now drilling new grass. Love the dog barking and bird tweeting in the background at the start of the video.

    1. The dog barking is Molly. Gobby little thing she is. We have finished drilling and there are about fifty acres to roll and the job is done.

    1. Marty I was just lucky with the birds. I liked it as well so will try and get some bird song to add to such videos.
