Here are a couple of birthday videos. I am having the devil of a job using Animation Nodes. I got involved with recreating a Cinema 4D tool called Mograph. Here is a demo reel showing it.
Needless to say ninety nine percent of this is way beyond me.
After innumerable foul ups I did get something to work.
The only thing here that is Key framed is the lighting the rest is all animation nodes. For those interested here is the node tree.

You're getting there. Setting up the animation nodes looks hellishly complicated to me.
ReplyDeleteJohn, I am starting to feel comfortable with the vector spline and matrix side of things. This is not as bad as it looks. The particles are duplicated between the text and a sphere which you can't see. That accounts for the first six nodes. The battleship grey bits are a loop subprogramme and that's about it. The time info is just pulling data from the time line. Which again is not visible.
