TEMPUS TANTRUM.

The weather is superb. Yesterday we had a wander down to Loch Leven, I lugged two cameras but failed miserably with the insects. Not to worry it was a grand morning.

The dogs had a paddle and I was almost tempted to join them.
I have just got a pendulum and the weight drum to finish modeling for the clock or so I thought. You will see that things didn't go to plan. I am going to have to re-think the workflow. Amusing as this clock is it is not what I intended.
I am enjoying the modelling and colouring in but have still some way to go for a satisfactory timepiece.
Take advantage of the global warming, it's set to become global cooling for the weekend.

  1. You're onto a winner there Adrian...going back in time!, a little refinement, and by this time last year you could be a 'milyon aire'...[;o)

    1. Trevor, I think the technical term for this is a Clock-Up.
      I did think of titling the post If I Could Take Back Time but then got to dreaming of Cher. Dreaming of Cher is far more interesting than modelling a clock.

  3. How frustrating for you, Adrian - you get all this way, and then it all goes backwards. Hopefully you'll sort it out before you get to your start point again! You need some WD40 on that spindle too, with the hands jammed together like that. ;-}

    1. Richard, it's not frustrating. I enjoy mastering this sort of thing and notice there are few tutorials on the matter. It will work if I just get everything in the right order and the right things. I will then know how to do it and move on to the next conundrum.
