MERRY CHRISTMAS.

I got it done and I'll have you know uploading to Blogger is a pain. It's worse than Keith at Redsumit could imagine. It's worse than the Pudding swapping his template without saving the original first. I notice the latter won't swap again in a hurry.

To everybody else here is a Merry Christmas. You may get another greeting as I'm trying to make a talking snowman. The talking snowman is a real bugger to do I can tell you. This I didn't find easy peasy, had to use special words.

This is a still from the movie. It looks a bit ghoulish but I like dark. I don't work well with bright light. Here is your Christmas video.

Have a great time. Ignore the idiots that spout doom and gloom. We have managed so far.

  1. 2nd attempt at writing this.
Great. Nice smooth animation. Well done Adrian.
Having problems with Blogger here. On viewing my own blog the posts show immediately. Then it takes nearly two minutes before the items in the side bar suddenly show. Started a few days ago. Same in three different browsers, on two different machines with different OS.

    1. Yes it appears to be a little awkward at the moment. This was the result of much fiddling.

  2. Thank you for the Christmas wishes. The only thing missing is his stick, walking stick. Buried under the snow?

  3. Thanks Adrian. I like the transition from day to night and the music. The snowfall looks like it is getting faster as it progresses but I suppose it is just an illusion.

    1. Animation by default starts off slowly and builds up. It follows a sort of sin wave, I can make it linear but it's not as smooth. Horses for courses at the end of the day.

  4. And a very Merry Christmas to you, Adrian! This wonderful piece reflects all the time and effort and brainpower it required to produce it. I could never produce what you have achieved. I am in awe even as you are in Auchtermuchy.

    1. Bob, I have played with this sort of software for years. I suspect that if I can do it anyone can and when I get stuck there's always YouTube. Sometimes the explanation is in English many times it is Russian or Hindi but you can still see where they click.
