Thanks Rachel. If it's identifiable then I'll carry on with it. It will get plenty of sparkles, music and some text. It reminds me a bit of a Plensa sculpture but his are just a bit better.
I do like the way the squiggly lines build up the object. Are the somewhat blocky grey areas surrounding it (more noticeable on full screen) a result of the process or an added extra?
John, you are correct there is a problem over and above the quick render. It doesn't happen in Cycles render but is a bugger in EEVEE. I was told in the days when we had proper film makers about on Blogger never to use no colour or pure black as a background. I lifted the background a touch and that is causing the problem. RGB 100% any colour the computer doesn't misbehave. No colour it hates but I suspect that's because EEVEE isn't a ray trace engine and the bloom or glow setting is causing problems Many thanks.
Bob nothing until I write Merry Christmas on it. I did a tree last year so decided on a snowman this year. I'll think about doing a baby in a manger next year. I could title the video Happy Winterval but I'm not going to as I'm not a woke lefty.
I saw what it was towards the end. To start with I thought it was a little globe on top of a big globe and expected the small one to melt into the big one to make a great big melting pot. I think there was something good in my wheaties this morning.
It held my attention to the end and I identified it. Perhaps it could have some Christmassy music to accompany it and some snow falling around it.

ReplyDeleteJohn, it's a fast EEVEE render. When I get it finished I'll do a better job of it.

DeleteMany thanks.
I think what I am seeing is a snowman, which is certainly a part of winter, but what does it have to do with Christmas?
