We had a good day out on the river despite the weather. Very few birds about and what there were were miles away. It will come as no surprise to regular readers that the promised pictures of our feathered friends have once again failed to materialize.
A buzzard came along but the rook chased it away.
"and it rained some more" is a beautiful, beautiful photo. I always love what you capture, but that shot is special. I love how you chase the birds! (My sense of humour at work - Will Adrian ever capture a bird to his satisfaction?)

I'm jealous - the only Egrets I have see were too far away even to be blobs on the picture. I'm also jelaous that you had some sunshine - we've just had rain between the showers.
ReplyDelete(I think it's a Raven chasing the Buzzard - looks too big for a Rook and has the broad wingtips of a Raven).
You do seem to have some sort of magnetic attraction to rain, Adrian.
